I wish I was a better blogger and diary keeper but I'm not ha. But this little quote motivated me to Blog more often... "If you can't annoy Somebody, there's little point in writing." Kingsley Amis.

I have started reading A Year In High Heels by Camilla Morton and it's just a fun book that's like a devotional to being an awesome chick. She teaches you to write down things you do, challenge yourself fashionably, detox, read Jane Austen and much more. I like it because I am always looking for a way to be inspired. Days I am not wanting to go to the gym I just look at pictures of Mila Kunis then I usually get my fat butt there! See inspiration. I like to be inspired mentally as well with a great book and I love any new creative film!
This book just gives me ideas and as an ADD person I like to be distracted from things I actually need to be doing ;).

I didn't really make any new resolutions for 2013 other than to improve on the ones I actually did this past 2012 year which was read more, go to the gym more and eat more vegetables, which I did! 2012 was eventful but when is my life not so bring it on 2013! I am ready for new adventures!

10 Ways Joseph Gordon-Levitt ruined my life by existing.

10. His grandpa helmed the movie “pillow talk” Which means in my head JGL loves old classic movies like this and Doris Day and Rock Hudson and we would choreograph dances to these songs in our New York apartment and he would teach me how to play Moon River on my ukulele…if you think I’m delusion now, just wait.

9. Loves Musicals….” A song-and-dance role is closer to me personally than other characters I play…”JGL. If you know me at all you know how much I love musicals. I believe it takes more talent to sing, dance and act at the same time and plus choreographed groups dancing always makes me happy but it also makes Joe happy and that’s just perfect.

8. In Joe’s interviews he cusses and I might be bias but it just makes him sexier to me. The manner he uses these words is well done, you know he’s intelligent and people who hate cussing always refer to the statement “People who cuss are just not smart enough to think of a better word.” Well I don’t think you can pin that cliché on Joe. He just sounds like a sexy badass to me.

7. Raised Jewish (not strictly religious per Wikipedia) Yeah, I love the Jews; they are God’s chosen people and no wonder right? The majority of successful people in the entertainment business are Jewish… and our little Joe is just another affirmation to my theory.

6. Dance moves! Did anyone else see him host SNL on September 22, 2012? He hosted the show and opened up with a funny ‘Magic Mike’ bit and ripped his clothes off, danced, and humped things… Point made.

5. He started this amazing company called HITRECORD http://www.hitrecord.org/ It supports the arts ! Go visit the site. He just loves originality and creativeness and is giving people an outlet to show what they can do.

4. He can sing and play the guitar… Most any girl swoons at a man who can bare his soul and sing and write music. We also like a good cover song every now and then, it makes a man playful and fun, enjoy ;) http://youtu.be/cg4rs3m2uoA

3. Clothes. This man knows how to dress. Even in the 90s when he played an alien on 3^rd Rock From The Sun he was cool but man did he grow up. You can now catch him in a slim well-tailored suit with a bow tie and suspenders. I am so thankful fashion took this turn…I don’t miss the 90’s baggy jeans and ripped shirts (just a note). A man who dresses as dapper as Joe just looks gentlemanly and you would listen and believe to ever word he said. MEN TAKE NOTES

1. His films will stand the test of time …meaning I can drool over him until I am 70 years old… and you know he’s going to keep making movies as long as he can. He also picks the best movies… 500 Days of Summer, Brick, Hesher, Manic, Batman, Inception…the list goes on.

Your year of birth is the third and last life phase and covers the period of time from 54 to the close of life. It represents the fruition period of life when each person should give back of his or her knowledge of life so others may benefit from the shared experiences.
Each period gives an opportunity to unfold a quality which is a component of your birthpath potential as determined by the date of birth.

Your First Life Phase

From birth to 27 the purpose is to develop maturity of mind to the point of recognizing responsibility for others in helping them find solutions to their problems. You would be happiest where you can express your individuality as the head or authority, organizing and directing the efforts of others. Such leadership requires stability of mind, positivity in expression, mental quickness, analytical competence, and a sincere desire to assist humanity. Once established in a responsible position, you could experience contentment and a sense of achievement. You could excel in both technical and inspirational endeavours. Also, you could develop an ability to teach, lecture, sing, or dramatize.
Your potential to discern the thoughts and feelings of others would allow you to understand human strengths and weaknesses and to know when to help so as not to appear to be intolerant and interfering. An overly serious attitude could develop; therefore, worry and stress must be controlled. The respect and appreciation from friends and family would be an added support from which you would draw confidence and incentive.

Your Second Life Phase

From 27 to 54 the lessons to be learned include understanding your feelings and directing those feelings into constructive, inspirational outlets such as music, art, drama, or into practical outlets of service, which benefit the lives of others. Your inner qualities of generosity, understanding, idealism, and affection for people could be expressed through teaching, counselling, and encouraging others to seek a better way of life.
Because of the sensitivity of your feelings, you could find yourself easily influenced by others. This sensitivity should be offset by establishing stability of mind and a clear perception of values to be expressed in your life. You must have ideals beyond yourself and outlets for your generous nature; otherwise, those feelings could be expressed negatively through selfishness, self-pity, or possessiveness. The expression of those qualities could bring losses and destroy friendships.

Your Third Life Phase

From age 54 to the close of life is a time to understand and apply the qualities of tenacity, dependability, patience, and systematic effort to bring about accomplishment and progress. The true expression of this inherent potential would bring out practical, meticulous, and analytical mental characteristics with interests in many branches of science, mathematics, technology, mechanics, and home improvement. The purpose during this time would be to seek an understanding of life on a practical level, striving to comprehend the purpose of life and the immutible laws that govern nature and the universe. You would draw security and contentment from a nurturing, stable home environment from which you could establish your goals and achieve your ideals. By being open to new ideas, you would curb any tendency to be stubborn, skeptical, or self-centred. You could find a joy in working with your hands creating, fixing, improving, or building and in developing a cleverness of mind in detailed work.

Part 3: Relationships and Compatibility

Groups

All people belong to one of three basic groups: practical, social, or inspirational. In the Kabalarian Philosophy we call these groups: water (practical), fire (social), and air (inspirational) groups. You are in the Air Group.
The day of the month when one is born determines the group. Each group has a specific role in life and the group signifies the basic nature of the purpose within each person and, as well, indicates the conditions necessary for personal growth. The group is part of the birthpath quality. They are self-sufficient and creative but have to guard against being self-centred. Those in the water group appreciate the outdoors and find harmony and peace in nature.
The fire group has the lesson of responsibility, the lesson of association, working for and with others, coinciding viewpoints and educating and organizing others. Those in the fire group often learn through the fire of experience until they base their decisions on definite principles and are not swayed by others. They are not highly inspirational, as they seek proof through fact and logic.
The air group is here to contribute through self-expression and creative, artistic achievement. Air group members have the potential to develop universal understanding to lead the minds of others into progressive, constructive channels of thought and creativity. Being idealistic and inspirational, they should express affection and generosity. Since they feel deeply about the welfare of humanity, they can be over-emotional, temperamental, and unrealistic if not living the higher side of their nature.

Compatibility

People born into the same group can experience a natural kinship, especially if their names have relative mathematical qualities. They tend to observe life from a similar perspective, think and feel in a similar way, and enjoy similar activities. However, discord in the name can distort the natural compatibility of people in the same group.

Merging with the Other Groups

Air group members find it easier to merge with people in the fire group than with those in the water group. Because the keynote of people in the fire group is blending with others, they find it easier than do the members of the other two groups to set aside their own wishes and respond to the inclinations of others. Both the fire and air groups benefit from close friendships from which they draw support and motivation. Those in the air group tend to be idealistic and visionary, while those in the water group are realistic and practical, and thus they do not see things from the same perspective. Therefore, without clear understanding of the reasons that create the differences, friction may result in close association.

Part 4: Career Selections

The opportunity to choose and develop a career relative to the qualities of your inner nature is an important aspect to consider in the overall happiness and success of your life. If the wisdom of the Kabalarian Philosophy were known and understood, all children would be named in harmony with their birthpaths. Since the time of birth denotes the quality and potentialities of the power of life seeded within each person, the names given would contain qualities that allow the birthpath expression through the developing personality. Parents would know how to educate and guide their children with greater understanding.
The names used lead to particular vocations and avocations that may or may not be relative to the inner potential. It is the name that determines destiny through the quality of mind, the cause for one’s path in life. Comparison between the name and the birthpath will reveal the degree of harmony or discord that has resulted, as well as the degree of satisfaction and contentment experienced in work.
It may not be practical to change your occupation. You may have already invested years in education or accumulated experience in a specific field. If this is the case, we suggest that you consider pursuing personal projects, such as hobbies, natural to your intrinsic qualities. The freedom and personal satisfaction gained would help to lessen any unhappiness and frustration created by your present occupation, and may even change or enhance your work performance, because you will be happier and more relaxed.

Yoga-Yoga-Bo-Boga

I receive daily emails(inspired by my Friend Kasia) from Yoga Journal -follow on twitter @Yoga_Journal or -http://www.yogajournal.com and today I received this one and I loved it so much I wanted to share it, please read the 4 paragraph message.

In the last few years a few people have introduced me to the amazing effect yoga can have on you, Beth took me to my first class and since then Ive had the help to keep up with teachers, health benefits and types of yoga from Kasia. Both of these girls are cute little Yo-gi's and I want to be like them ;).

I recently took a class with my in laws in Fort Worth at Bikram Yoga - http://www.bikramfortworth.com/ . It was a hot yoga class, you bring a towel to put over your yoga mat and a bottle of water and prepare yourself to sweat profusely. It was very hard but also very rewarding and it looks like I'm finally going to be able to do more of it in the near future...bye bye chunky 2008-2011 Brittney!

Park City and Sundance FIlm Festival-Trip of a lifetime.

Preface/Blog-First a statement regarding our family taking on this blessing of a trip to Park City Utah-

*Yes I’m blessed with great a great family, some people try to judge and hate us for this blessing by trying to steal, kill and destroy the happiness they can bring but I just won’t let them. I hope one day Ryan and I have enough money to return our blessings to the people who choose to bless us now and even those who don’t. This is not the point of the blog but it needs to be stated. Ryan and I go under a lot of judgment from others just because some of our family chooses to take us on vacation and I won’t let them ruin my blessed life. It almost stopped me from typing this blog because I didn’t want to have to hear it but it was too great of time not to share.

So Jim and Lezlie let us know before Christmas that they were taking the us to Park City Utah, and when I found out that some of the dates were during the Sundance film festival I was ecstatic. -A side note about Jim and Lezlie, they just want everyone around them to be as happy as they are, they are 2 of the most giving and funniest people I get to have in my life, im blessed with some great in-laws or as I like to call them in-loves ;)- ANYWAY back to finding out I was going to be at Sundance. This was something I’ve always wanted to do, I have always loved movies (who doesn’t enjoy a good movie) but I truly collect movies, I have hundreds and I’m constantly wanting to see many more. Being an only child I think I watched more TV than most children and I sort of, in an unhealthy way, look towards TV as a companion. I get mad at my T V when it kills off my favorite Boardwalk Empire charter but I can never stay mad long because my Net-Flix streams instantly through my TV because it loves me and then I discover/watch the first 4 season of Breaking Bad and the first season of Downton Abbey in a month and all is forgiven. In this world its easy and necessary to escape-Yes I could sit quietly in my room and try to solve the world’s problems with my minds(yes I said ‘minds’ I have more than one) but I have A.D.D so lets be realistic. To escape with a movie makes me so happy and content, I can sing along with my favorite musical, cry at unrequited love, try to solve a murder, laugh tell I pee a little, enjoy some disturbing scenes that only the greatest serial killer can pull off by almost making you feel bad for him/her… the list could go on. Basically I have an unconditional/unhealthy love for shows and movies…

That being said… Going to the mountains is fun even though out of Jim, Lezlie, Ryan and Johnnye I’m the only one that doesn’t ski or snowboard. Its not that I haven’t tried but it’s just not my thing. I love how much Ryan loves it and all but I just don’t enjoy going down a snowy cold mountain super fast on ski’s or a board trusting that my clumsy self will be able to stop or avoid an accident * I haven’t been to the dentist 5 times to fix my chipped teeth for falling gracefully. So usually when we go on these trips I get to catch up on some reading, work on some photography, watch some movies and go see the town. This trip was obviously going to be different because along with my love for movies I adore/stalk celebrities so I had a lot of reading/stalking to do.

I went on the Sundance site and got my Sundance app and as soon as they released the movies I went through each one and basically made a list from least to greatest of movies I wanted to see, then putting them in groups of –Movies with famous people in them –Indie films-Documentaries-Animation and shorts- Then I made a list of what celebrities would most likely be there since they were in the films and I brushed up on their IMDBs to make sure my facts were correct. We registered to get tickets a little late plus its so hard for someone who isn’t a producer, director, writer, publicist, actor so on, to get tickets. So Jim talked to his friends and gave us some insides and so we left for Park City on January 14^th with a plan in mind.

Our plan left early so that lead to late night packing and waking up early... heres some pictures and videos of our trip....

When we arrived we went out and saw the town...this is a brew pub in town called Wasatch

The first day we were there it was like 57 degrees outside...it was nice but not what we expected, we wanted snow!

This was a popular hang out spot for us. There were rumors that people like Oprah and Conan O'Brien stayed there. The fun part about this place is you had to ride a Funicular to get the hotel which gives you a chance to have a great view of the mountains. Their drinks were marvelous!

Every night at Sunset a staff member stands on this rock and talks about the history of the hotel and then uses a saber to pop the cork of a champagne bottle and they celebrate the start of the evening and everyone gets champagne. It’s very fun and festive.

One day we all went tubbing...The first time I did this is was not as scary, these snow hills were longer and more bumpy and I hate that feeling where you loose your stomach- needless to say I made it once down the hill and the adventure was over for me.

I get sad that we make horses pull our lazy butts around so the guy who owned them let me sit on Dino and hug him, I got really excited...I’ve never even been on a horse before. I’ve been on an elephant and a camel but never a horse.
